Thank you for choosing the BikeSafe.me Dynamic Brake Light Controller. This compact device enhances motorcycle safety by automatically modulating brake lights to clearly alert following traffic when decelerating or braking.
Check if your motorcycle's brake light is directly wired and not controlled by the CAN-BUS. Simplest way is to check the wire to the tail light, if it is high on and low off you are good to go, if it is inverse or has some other signal your bike might have a CAN-BUS system, please consult your bike's shop manual. Current version of BrakeBright is not compatible with CAN-BUS.
Wiring Code:
Ensure all components are included upon unpacking.
Package comes with four non intrusive quick tap connectors, to provide most user friendly installation. Simply find the correct wires (either from your bike's service manual, searching online or you can use the connector to tap into a wire and check the voltage when pressing the brake).
TIP: Tap into the correct wires on the connectors' pointy end with slotted cap then use the connector cap to securely attach BrakeBright wires.
This mode requires to cut the brake light signal line. Switch side becomes the signal input (Yellow) and Lamp side becomes the output (Green). If you need to remove BrakeBright from the system, re-join the wires with a connector or solder them together.
After wiring:
